W Polsce 15 maja będzie miała miejsce premiera książki Amo Jones “Marionetka”, a ja miałam już przyjemność i szansę przeczytania “Tacet a mortuis” kontynuację Elite King's Club oraz zapoznanie się z końcem historii Bishopa i Madison. Chociaż autorka zapowiedziała, że seria będzie się składała z 13 części to Bishop i Madison na sam koniec doczekają się jeszcze jednej książki, która zostanie im poświęcona i zakończy całą serię Elite z wielkim hukiem :D Tak więc u nas troszkę będzie nie pokolei ale recenzja “Marionetki” też się pojawi na blogu już wkrótce. Kto nie czytał jeszcze “Srebrnego Łabędzia” to musi koniecznie rozpocząć swoją przygodę z twórczością Amo Jones, bo gwarantuję Wam naprawdę wielką bombę emocjonalną.

“Tacet a mortuis” zaczyna się w chwili zakończenia “Marionetki” i wracamy do życia Madison, gdzie widzimy konsekwencje i następstwa objawień na końcu poprzedniej części. Dziewczyna jest zmuszona do stawienia czoła sekretom, które zostały ujawnione, musi pogodzić się z tym, co jest prawdą. Madison ma dość, jest załamana, że wszyscy wszystko wiedzieli dookoła, tylko nie ona. Nie wierzy już nikomu, a w tym swojemu chłopakowi Bishopowi, który ukrywał przed nią wiele tajemnic.
“ I didn’t trust him anymore”.
Dziewczyna ma mętlik w głowie i prawie posuwa się do popełnienia głupoty, która by ciągnęła za sobą poważne następstwa. Madison jest w gorącej wodzie kąpana i najpierw popełnia błędy a później myśli o konsekwencjach swojego wyskoku. Bishop się o tym i tak dowiaduje i nie tylko jej tego nie podaruje, ale również dla Nate’a i Brantley’a. Nie pozwoli sobie na to, że za każdym razem kiedy coś się dzieję dziewczyna nie potrafi o tym porozmawiać, tylko skłania się do wybryków, których on ma już serdecznie dość i chce dać dziewczynie nauczkę.
“ I. Don’t. Share. Madison. Ever.”
Do tego Bishop ewidentnie czuje coś do Madison, chroni ją, nie potrafi zostawić jej w spokoju. Wie, że dziewczyna go kocha, bo sama to przyznała. Zastanawia się sam nad głębią swoich uczuć względem Madi.
“I feel something for you, Madison. Something I’ve never felt for anyone- ever”.
Kiedy Madi w końcu poznaje prawdę na myśl nasuwają się nam pytania: Czy to wszystko? Czy może są jeszcze inne tajemnice? Pytaniem jest również to czy Bishop, jest jej największym obrońcą w ich związku? Czy kolejne twarze muszą zostać odkryte żeby poznać cała prawdę? Dziewczyna czuje, że chłopak coś jeszcze przed nią ukrywa i czegoś jej nie mówi.
Nie chcę za dużo spojlerować z racji tego, że większość z Was nie czytał jeszcze “Marionetki”, ale gwarantuję, że pewne wątki zostaną wyjaśnione, mam tu na myśli Tillie, Kahles i jeszcze jedną osobę, której tożsamości Wam nie zdradzę. Madison odwiedzi pewne miejsce, a mianowicie wyspę Perdita, gdzie dowie się kilku rzeczy. Na tej wyspie również dojdzie do pewnych zdarzeń, które złamią dziewczynę.
Książka stylem przypomina dwie poprzednie części. Historia jest wypełniona po brzegi lękiem, tajemnicą, zmysłowością i sekretami. Jest również mroczna jak i trzymająca w napięciu. Amo Jones pisze mocne książki i definitywnie ta część również jest taka. Podoba mi się to, że w tej części możemy poznać myśli Bishopa nie tylko te teraźniejsze, ale również te z przeszłości.
Autorka naprawdę wie jak wywołać w czytelniku emocje, podniosły nastrój, chwile lęku i grozy. Sekrety, kłamstwa i szkielety chowane w szafie perfekcyjnie się komponują z całością książki. Autorka stworzyła postacie w bardzo ciekawy i kreatywny sposób, tak jakby siedziała w ich głowach i wiedziała, co powiedzą w danym momencie. Ujawnia ich każdy cal w swoich opowiadaniach. Przyznam, że Madison mnie irytowała trochę, rozumiem, że wszystko na nią spadło jak grom z jasnego nieba, ale to jak się zachowywała, wręcz było wkurzające i nie raz ją wyzywałam i kazałam jej się ogarnąć. Uwielbiam tą serię naprawdę i czekam na dalsze losy kolejnych samców Alfa, królów, całej Elity , bo jestem pewna, że będą tak samo dobre jak wcześniejsze części.
“Tacet a mortuis” (Whisper from the dead) to książka, która wyprze Cię z emocji, przeżuje i poskłada. Przygotuj się na ostrą jazdę bez trzymanki, paczkę papierosów i butelkę whisky, żeby przebrnąć przez dalszy ciąg tej historii.

In Poland, the premiere of Amo Jones's book “The Broken Puppet” will take place on May 15th, and I had the pleasure and a chance to read “Tacet a mortuis” continuation the Elite King's Club and familiarize myself with the end of the story of Bishop and Madison. Although the author has announced that the series will consist of 13 parts, Bishop and Madison will have one more book that will be devoted to them and will end the entire series of Elite with a bang :D
So first we will have a review of “Tacet a mortuis” but review of “The Broken Puppet” will also appear on our blog. Who has not read yet “The Silver Swan” must necessarily start the adventure with the work of Amo Jones, because I guarantee a really big emotional bomb.

“Tacet a mortuis” begins at the end of “The Broken Puppet” and we coming back to Madison life, where we see the consequences of the apparitions at the end of the previous part. The girl is forced to face the secrets that have been revealed, she must come to terms with what is true. Madison is fed up, she is depressed, that everyone knew everything around, but not her. She no longer believes to anyone, including her boyfriend Bishop, who hid many secrets from her.

Madison is confused and almost goes to commit stupidity, which would lead to serious consequences. At first she made a mistake and when realization hit her she knows that she’s done something wrong. Bishop is finding out about it, and he will not leave it like that. He will teach Madi a lesson and also Nate and Brantley. He is very angry because whenever something happens, Madi not talking about this only she start doing silly things and he had enough.
“I. Don’t. Share. Madison. Ever”.
Bishop evidently feels something for Madison, protects her, he can’t leave her alone. He knows that Madi loves him because she admitted it herself. He wonders himself about the depth of his feelings towards Madison.
“I feel something for you, Madison. Something I’ve never fell for anyone- ever”.
When Madi finally knows the truth, the following question arise: Is that all? or Could be other secrets? The question is: Bishop is her biggest protector in their relationship? or Other faces must be reviled? Madison feels that Bishop is hiding something more and doesn't say it.
I don’t want to spoil too much, because most of you have not read “The Broken Puppet” yet, but I can guarantee you that some threads will be clarified, I mean Tille, Khales and another person whose identity I will keep it for myself, which is you have to find out in the book. Madison will visit a certain place, namely the island of Perdita, where she will find out more things and where the tragic event will take place which is break Madison.
Book style resembles the two previous parts. The story is filled to the brim of fear, mystery, sensuality and secrets. It also dark and tense. Amo Jones writes strong books and definitely this part is also like that. I like that this time we can get to know Bishop thoughts, not only present ones, but also those from the past.
The author is really knows how to evoke emotions in the reader, raise the mood, moments of fear and horror. The secrets, lies and skeletons hidden in the closet, match perfectly with the whole book. The author created characters in a very interesting and creative way, as if she were sitting in their heads and knew what they would say at the moment. It reveals them every inch in their stories. I admit that Madison annoyed me sometimes a little, I understand that everything fell on her like a bolt from the sky, but how she behaved was really annoying and too many times I swear at her and said to her: “Pull yourself together”. I really love this series and I looking forward to the further fate of the next alpha males, kings and the whole Elite, because I’m sure they will be just good as the earlier parts.
“Tacet a mortuis” (Whisper from the dead) is a book that will drive you out of emotions, chew and put together. Prepare for a rough ride, a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of whiskey to get through the rest of this story.
